Easy bolt on +1 performance brake upgrade products by Baer Brakes, Inc.

EradiSpeed-Plus-One represents a new generation of performance brake upgrades. It has been designed specifically to compliment wheel and tire packages of 18" and larger. Employing direct bolt-on replacement caliper brackets, EradiSpeed-Plus-One actually relocates the caliper outward to allow use of a massive 14" diameter rotors in place of original 12.5" unit. This increase in diameter increases leverage, braking power and efficiency by 17%. Much the way that using a fulcrum and longer lever reduces the effort of lifting an object. Thus, EradiSpeed-Plus-One packages offer a return of braking performance, which is otherwise lost with the greater mass of large wheels and tires (most often over 30 lbs per corner on popular 20" wheel and tire combinations).
Since Baer EradiSpeed-Plus-One upgrades employ the original factory calipers and pads, there is no increase in noise, harshness, or dust, which is often witnessed with pad or more elaborate brake system upgrades. The system is fully compatible with the vehicles original equipment ABS system. Further, EradiSpeed-Plus-One systems install in less than 2.5-hours and do so without even bleeding the brakes!
A full EradiSpeed-Plus-One upgrade front and rear is priced at $1,375. The installation is exactly the same as removal and replacement of the rotors. The same tools, the same operations, just substitute the EradiSpeed-Plus-One rotors, anchor brackets and supplied OE hardware on reassembly. The factory manual calls for a front and rear time of 2.4 hours total. Installation charges average $180 (your area may vary), for a combined installed price of $1,555+ tax.
To put this into perspective, Brembo only offers a front system, their ® 4-piston "Gran Turismo", 14" diameter (same size as ES+1) crossdrilled and cadmium platted (not slotted), part number 1319007-(A2 = silver, or A3 = red) is $3,295+ installation. While the most robust road going system available for the late model GM pickup or SUV, the Baer Claw®, "EXTREME+" 6-piston, 14" (optional, 15") system with crossdrilled, slotted, and zinc platted rotors, sells for $4,585+ installation. Although these systems definitely offer progressively greater performance (both are further enhanced by installation of a rear EradiSpeed-Plus-One upgrade), they represent a substantially greater initial investment in both dollars, as well as installation time. Further, neither can claim to provide gains in performance without affecting noise, vibration, and harshness, which are givens with the EradiSpeed-Plus-One package.
The result, EradiSpeed-Plus-One upgrades produce a brilliant visual impact that alone makes them a desirable enhancement. Combine these powerful esthetic improvements with dynamic braking improvements and you have. Performance you can see!
