The first annual Sport Truck/Mini Truckin' Havoc show, sponsored by Chevy Trucks, was held the weekend of June 18-19 at the Louisville Convention Center, in Louisville, Kentucky. The show was small due to an all indoor venue, but for what it lacked in size it made up for in quality show rigs available for the public to see. There was more than $5,000 in cash and awards handed out and a special area set aside for the owners of previous Mini Truckin' cover trucks called the Mini Truckin' Cover Corral. The best-of-the-best show trucks showed up for a "showdown" against one another exclusively for bragging rights and only a few walked away with the respect of having placed... hence the name "Havoc."
